Miraculous Meals goes to Parliament

APDAWG is the All-party Parliamentary Dog Advisory Welfare Group. A forum set up by the inspirational and tireless dog welfare campaigner Dr Marc Abraham OBE. It brings together organisations from across the rescue world and government to discuss the multitude of problems surrounding dog welfare in the UK and how they can be solved.

The meeting was held in the largest committee room in the House of Commons. There wasn’t an empty seat in the house. A testament both to the size and scale of the dog rescue problem in the UK and also the amount of people committed to doing something about it.

One thing that never ceases to amaze us is the passion, spirit, determination and strength of the rescue centres on the front line. They are truly inspirational people, doing life changing work, often under the toughest of circumstances.

We believe business can do more

One of our founders, Ed, spoke to introduce Miraculous Meals and our belief that business can do more to help solve the UK dog rescue crisis through a new, more equitable of doing business. One where all dogs win. We do that through donating 50% of all our profits to UK rescue centres.

Our aim is to donate £4m over the next 4 years. It won’t solve all the problems. But it’ll make a big difference.

A big thank you to everyone present for such a warm reception and, as ever, a massive thanks to all our customers.

Together, let’s make the money spent on dog food make a difference.
